The Islamic World League has strongly condemned the ongoing assaults by Iranian-backed militias in Iraq against Saudi Arabia. These militias have attempted to target oil facilities in the Eastern Province, as reported by the organization.
The Secretary-General of the League, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, stated that these criminal acts represent a blatant violation of religious values, international laws, and humanitarian norms. He reiterated his condemnation of these treacherous actions.
Al-Issa emphasized, on behalf of the League’s councils and the Islamic communities it represents, the full solidarity with Saudi Arabia. He supported the Kingdom’s measures to deter aggressors and ensure the safety and sovereignty of its citizens and residents. He prayed for the protection of the Kingdom, its leadership, and its people from all harm.
The Islamic World League’s firm stance highlights the importance of unity among Islamic nations in the face of aggression. The organization continues to advocate for peace and security in the region.
