The Ministry of Finance announced today, Wednesday, that it has finalized the financial enhancements for the March 2025 salaries of state employees across central and local authorities, as well as economic units. The ministry has sent these enhancements to the Central Bank of Yemen in the temporary capital, Aden, to ensure timely disbursement before the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
This initiative follows directives from President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak. Minister of Finance Salem bin Brik has closely supervised and monitored the process to ensure that salaries are disbursed, taking into account the economic and living conditions of employees as the holiday approaches.
A responsible source from the Ministry of Finance confirmed to the Yemen News Agency (Saba) that all necessary procedures for the financial enhancements have been completed. The ministry aims to ensure that state employees receive their March salaries before the holiday.
The same source reiterated the commitment of finance officials and staff to fulfill their duties effectively. They emphasized their dedication to intensifying efforts to ensure timely salary payments for state employees, reflecting a strong sense of responsibility amid challenging economic conditions.
This proactive approach by the Ministry of Finance highlights the government’s commitment to supporting its employees during significant cultural and religious occasions, ensuring that they can celebrate Eid al-Fitr with financial stability.
