At precisely 10:40 AM on Thursday, August 6, 2026, the Houthi militia launched a treacherous attack using ballistic missiles and drones, targeting several military camps and units in Marib and Hadhramaut.
This attack targeted our brave armed forces during their national duty to secure liberated areas and international roads, while countering the militia’s plans and smuggling networks. The assault resulted in the martyrdom and injury of several personnel, all of whom are sons of the Yemeni people from various provinces. This crime highlights the Houthi militia’s continued violation of Yemeni blood without distinction.
The Ministry of Defense assures that the Yemeni armed forces will respond to this aggression at the appropriate time and place. This cowardly attack will not weaken the resolve of our heroes nor affect their ability to fulfill their national duties. Instead, it will increase their steadfastness and determination to defend the republic, restore the state, and end the coup.
