This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance the aviation infrastructure in Aden.

Vision for the Aviation Sector

Minister Hamid emphasized that 2025 will mark a significant year for the aviation sector, which plays a crucial role in driving economic and social development. He highlighted several projects launched in the past two weeks, including the opening of Ataq International Airport and Abd al-Kuri Island Airport in the Socotra Archipelago. Achievements and Future Plans

Captain Bin Naheed confirmed that this year represents a milestone for the authority, showcasing numerous completed programs and ongoing projects. He provided insights into the project’s location, which will be situated on the northern side of Aden International Airport. This area complies with Cabinet decisions and safety plans, ensuring it maintains appropriate distances from the runway according to established regulations.
