Minister of Transport Leads Meeting on Maritime Affairs in Aden

Today, Minister of Transport Mohsen Al-Omari chaired a significant meeting of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Maritime Affairs in Aden, the temporary capital of Yemen. The meeting aimed to discuss the current status of the authority, its needs, and strategies to enhance its performance across various maritime sectors.

Emphasizing Responsibility and Change

During the meeting, Minister Al-Omari stressed the importance of the board’s active and responsible role. He urged members to contribute to a transformative shift in the authority’s operations, correcting its course and achieving the necessary changes.

Restoring Normalcy and Functionality

Al-Omari outlined the essential tasks and responsibilities assigned to the General Authority for Maritime Affairs. He highlighted the need to restore the authority’s normal functioning, enabling it to fulfill its duties as a vital component of the Ministry of Transport’s maritime sector.
