During the opening of a preparatory workshop aimed at shaping future directions and developing the strategic vision for the fund in the temporary capital of Aden, Al-Yafai stated that the upcoming phase requires a shift from emergency response to recovery and development. He emphasized the need to transform needs into empowerment and assistance into opportunities for production and stability.

Mohammed Al-Ban, the acting executive director of the fund, explained that the new strategic vision will establish a foundation for ongoing work and development in line with current requirements. He assured attendees that the coming period would be rich in innovation, as the country moves toward recovery and sustainable development.
