Acknowledging Workers’ Resilience
Dr. Mohammed Al-Zahouri, Yemen’s Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, extended heartfelt congratulations to workers across the nation in honor of International Workers’ Day. He praised their resilience in the face of severe economic and living challenges that the country currently endures.
Highlighting the Humanitarian Crisis
Al-Zahouri pointed out the humanitarian and economic disaster caused by the ongoing war led by Houthi militias. He urged the international community to take decisive action to protect workers’ rights and facilitate their return to their jobs.

The minister emphasized that improving workers’ conditions remains a top priority for the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor.
