On Tuesday, Minister of Legal Affairs Judge Ishraq Al-Maqtari convened a significant meeting in Sayoun to discuss the current state of legal work within the local authorities of Hadhramaut Governorate. The meeting aimed to explore strategies for improving legal operations across various governmental bodies.
The gathering included over 75 legal representatives from different districts, executive offices, and governmental institutions. Participants evaluated the performance of legal departments, aimed to strengthen institutional coordination, and sought to enhance legal work. The ultimate goal was to improve efficiency and ensure adherence to the law.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Maqtari, accompanied by Hadhramaut Deputy Governor Jam’an Barba’a and Assistant Deputy Abdulhadi Al-Tamimi, emphasized the ministry’s commitment to activating its institutional role. She outlined plans for future initiatives, monitoring the performance of legal departments, and enhancing their role in protecting state property. Additionally, she stressed the importance of establishing a sound legislative environment and implementing it effectively.
Al-Maqtari praised Hadhramaut for its positive example in upholding order and applying the law, despite the extraordinary challenges posed by ongoing conflict in the country.
