The Minister of Information stated that Abdul-Malik al-Houthi suffers from a “political coma” and will face a fate like other Iranian militias.

Minister of Information Criticizes Houthi Leader's Recent Speech

In a recent statement, Yemen’s Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, criticized Houthi leader Abdulmalik Al-Houthi for delivering a disjointed and tense speech. Al-Eryani described the speech as a desperate attempt to intimidate the Yemeni people while portraying the Iranian-backed militia as an unstoppable force.

Al-Eryani’s Observations on Houthi Leadership

Al-Eryani emphasized that Al-Houthi’s remarks reflect a significant disconnection from reality. He suggested that the Houthi leader remains oblivious to the seismic shifts occurring in the region, particularly the decline of the Iranian expansionist project, which has relied on extensive human, political, economic, and military resources over the past four decades. Al-Eryani warned that these changes will inevitably affect Yemen.

A Call for Accountability

Instead of acknowledging past mistakes and seeking a resolution, Al-Houthi chose to threaten the Yemeni people with violence once again. Al-Eryani noted the similarity between Al-Houthi’s threats and those previously issued by Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, against the Lebanese population. He questioned the effectiveness of Nasrallah’s promises of power, asking, “Where is that ‘great force’ today?”

The Reality of Extremism

Al-Eryani asserted that Al-Houthi’s speech reveals a deep-seated mentality of extremism and violence promoted by Iran. He pointed out that the Houthi leader’s current situation mirrors the struggles faced by Nasrallah and other Iranian-backed militia leaders in the region.

Expectations for a Different Message

Many observers anticipated that Al-Houthi would deliver a more rational address following the recent failures of the Persian axis and Iran’s humiliating defeat in Syria. This defeat, which served as a cornerstone of Iran’s expansionist ambitions, left Hezbollah as its first line of defense. Al-Eryani expressed disappointment that Al-Houthi did not take this opportunity to apologize to the Yemeni people for the conflict he ignited, which resulted in bloodshed, destruction, and numerous violations over the years.

A Determined Yemeni Population

Al-Eryani stated that the time for liberation is approaching. He highlighted the resilience of Yemenis, who have endured immense suffering over the past decade. With their blood shed, wealth plundered, and dignity violated, they are now more determined than ever to free their homeland from Al-Houthi’s oppressive rule. He assured that they would seize this historic moment and make any sacrifice necessary to restore their national and Arab identity.

A Promising Future Ahead

Al-Eryani remains optimistic about the future, believing that victory awaits the honorable people of Yemen. He anticipates pleasant surprises in the coming days, asserting that the fate of the Houthi militia will mirror that of other Iranian-backed groups in the region. He reiterated that Yemen will always be part of its Arab surroundings and will continue to resist oppression and tyranny until it regains its freedom and sovereignty. The Yemeni people, who have already paid a heavy price in their struggle for survival, will not hesitate to make further sacrifices to achieve a free and independent nation, free from destructive Iranian influence, and to attain victory, liberation, and dignity.
