Minister of Awqaf and Guidance Inspects Yemeni Pilgrims’ Camps in Mecca
Today, Dr. Mohammed Shabeeb, the Minister of Awqaf and Guidance, conducted an inspection of the Yemeni pilgrims’ camps in the holy sites of Mecca. His visit aimed to assess the arrangements and services provided to the guests of Allah during this sacred pilgrimage.
Assessing Facilities and Services
Accompanying Minister Shabeeb were Anwar Al-Amri, the Deputy Minister of Awqaf and Guidance, Dr. Abdullah Dahan, the Deputy Minister of Public Health and Population, and Dr. Mukhtar Al-Rabash, the Undersecretary of the Awqaf Ministry for Hajj and Umrah. Together, they reviewed the accommodation facilities and public services available at the camps. These services included electricity, sanitation, and other essential support systems. Minister Shabeeb emphasized the need to enhance efforts to create a safe and comfortable environment for the pilgrims.
Medical Clinic Inspection
The inspection also included a visit to the medical clinic operated by the Yemeni health mission in Mina. Minister Shabeeb stressed the importance of fully equipping the clinic with all necessary medical supplies and health resources before the pilgrims ascend to the holy sites. He highlighted the need to ensure the availability of medications and qualified medical staff to provide optimal healthcare for the pilgrims.

Minister Shabeeb reaffirmed that the Ministry of Awqaf and Guidance, in coordination with relevant Yemeni and Saudi authorities, is committed to delivering the best services for the guests of Allah. He noted that this visit forms part of ongoing efforts to monitor preparations and ensure the well-being of Yemeni pilgrims during this year’s Hajj season.
