The Meteorological and Early Warning Center of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology has forecasted scattered rainfall across parts of the coasts and mountainous regions today, Saturday. The center anticipates hot weather during the day in coastal and desert areas, with moderate temperatures at night and in the early morning.
The center reported that coastal areas and their surroundings will experience hot daytime temperatures and moderate conditions at night. Partial cloud cover is expected, along with the possibility of scattered rainfall in the Socotra Archipelago and the western coastal plains. Winds will strengthen along the southwestern and western coasts, as well as in Bab al-Mandab.
In the mountainous regions, the weather will remain moderate with partial cloudiness. The center predicts the likelihood of thunderstorms in various areas of the highlands and western slopes, including parts of Hadramaut and Shabwa governorates.
The forecast for desert and plateau areas indicates dry and clear conditions, transitioning to partially cloudy skies. Daytime temperatures will be hot, while nights and early mornings will be moderate. Moderate to active winds may stir up dust and sand.
The center advises citizens, particularly children and the elderly in mountainous areas, to take necessary precautions against the cold weather during nighttime and early morning hours.
In its marine bulletin, the center expects light to moderate waves along most Yemeni coasts, with moderate waves in the Red Sea. Fishermen and sea-goers in the southwestern and western coasts, as well as Bab al-Mandab, should be cautious of rough sea conditions and strong winds.
