The Meteorological and Early Warning Center at the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology predicts partly cloudy and relatively hot weather during the day in coastal areas and nearby regions. At night, temperatures will moderate, with a chance of scattered rain on the western coasts and Socotra Archipelago. Winds will strengthen along the southwestern coasts, Bab al-Mandab, and adjacent shores.
The center’s daily weather report indicates that mountainous areas will experience cold to relatively cold weather during the night and early morning. Scattered rain, some of which may be thundery, is likely in parts of the western highlands. In contrast, desert and plateau regions will see clear to partly cloudy skies, with hot temperatures during the day and relatively cool conditions at night.
Maximum temperatures will range from 32 to 34 degrees Celsius in coastal areas, while desert and plateau regions will experience temperatures between 31 and 34 degrees Celsius. In the mountainous areas, temperatures will vary from 23 to 29 degrees Celsius.
The center advises citizens and vehicle drivers in areas expecting rain to avoid riverbeds and valleys. They should also be cautious of reduced visibility. Additionally, the elderly and children in mountainous regions should take necessary precautions due to the drop in temperatures.
In the marine forecast, the center expects calm seas along the coasts of Al-Mahra, Hadhramaut, Shabwa, Abyan, Aden, and Socotra Archipelago. Moderate waves will occur along the coasts of Bab al-Mandab and the western shores. Fishermen and sea-goers in the western coasts and the Red Sea should be aware of potential sea disturbances, high waves, and strong winds.
