On Friday, the Presidential Leadership Council convened under the leadership of President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi. The meeting included members Aidarus Al-Zubaidi, Sultan Al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman Al-Mahrimi, Dr. Abdullah Alimi, and Othman Majali. Member Faraj Al-Bahssani was absent due to valid reasons.

These initiatives aim to enhance financial and monetary reforms, ensuring the state meets its obligations. This includes timely payment of employee salaries, sustaining essential services, and providing necessary fuel for electricity generation. The council also discussed the required steps to advance the comprehensive reform agenda.
The Presidential Leadership Council reaffirmed its commitment to the comprehensive reform process, supported by regional and international partners. The council acknowledged the significant roles played by the Saudi-led coalition, particularly Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, in supporting the Yemeni people and their legitimate leadership.
The council also recognized the contributions of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom in hosting and facilitating the recent Maritime Security Conference in Yemen. The outcomes of this conference included commitments to bolster the capabilities of the Yemeni Coast Guard, enhancing its role in ensuring the safety and security of international navigation.
The council reviewed and approved the minutes from its previous meeting. They conducted a brief assessment of the recommendations coordinated with relevant entities.
This meeting underscores the council’s ongoing commitment to addressing pressing issues and fostering collaboration for a stable and prosperous Yemen.
