Governor Discusses Human Rights Issues in Lahij

Lahij, Yemen – Today, Governor Ahmed Turki of Lahij province met with a team from the National Commission for Investigating Allegations of Human Rights Violations. The meeting, led by committee member Judge Sabah Alwani, focused on various human rights issues, particularly the conditions of prisoners and prisons in the region.

Acknowledging Humanitarian Efforts

During the meeting, which included the presence of Lahij Police Director Brigadier Nasser Al-Shawhati, Governor Turki praised the significant humanitarian efforts made by the National Commission.
