King Salman Relief Center Launches “Joy” Clothing Project in Marib

Marib, Yemen – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center officially launched the “Joy” clothing project today in Marib Governorate. This initiative, which aims to provide festive clothing, is executed by the Orphan Care Charity Association (Insan) in collaboration with the Good Coalition for Relief and Humanitarian Work.

Project Overview

The project targets 3,600 beneficiaries, focusing on vulnerable groups, including individuals with disabilities, orphans, and families who have lost their primary breadwinner. The initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden on these families during the festive season.

Beneficiary Demographics

Abdulhakim Al-Qaisi, the Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in Marib, along with Abdulrahman Al-Sayari, the Director of the King Salman Center in the governorate, reviewed the project’s components and implementation strategy. The project specifically caters to children aged one to 18 years, regardless of gender, as highlighted by Mohsen Al-Hadrami, the Director of the Good Coalition for Relief and Humanitarian Work in the region.

Community Impact

Al-Qaisi praised the humanitarian efforts of the King Salman Center in Marib. He emphasized the significance of this project in easing the financial strain on beneficiary families, particularly in providing festive clothing and bringing joy to children’s hearts.

This initiative reflects a commitment to supporting the most vulnerable populations in Yemen, ensuring that they experience the joy of the festive season despite challenging circumstances.
