Military Operations Chief Holds Strategic Meeting on Combat Readiness

On Saturday, Major General Khaled Al-Ashoul, the Chief of Operations for the Armed Forces, convened a comprehensive meeting. This gathering included directors from various departments, leaders of military operations from the third, sixth, and seventh regions, as well as representatives from the Sixth Drone Brigade, the Engineering Fortifications Unit, Military Police Operations, and heads of specialized schools.

Discussion on Operational and Security Updates

The meeting focused on the latest developments in operational and security conditions. Participants assessed the combat readiness necessary for executing national missions under the emergency plan announced by President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. Additionally, they evaluated adherence to the training and combat plan for 2026.

Enhancements in Combat Preparedness and Training

The discussion also highlighted achievements in combat readiness, efficiency improvements, and training across various specialties. The attendees emphasized the need to enhance military capabilities to meet the ongoing challenges posed by the Houthi militia.

Major General Al-Ashoul listened to detailed reports from department heads and operation leaders regarding their units’ readiness and the execution of assigned tasks. They also reviewed the level of coordination and integration among military units.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Major General Khaled Al-Ashoul honored the graduates of the 17th course from the Command and Staff College. He presented them with certificates of appreciation and commemorative shields.

This meeting underscores the commitment of the Armed Forces to maintain high levels of readiness and adapt to evolving security challenges in the region.
