Today, Governor Nabil Shamshan of Taiz officially launched a significant project aimed at rehabilitating and paving several streets in the Salh district. This initiative marks the first phase of a broader plan to enhance the infrastructure across various districts in the city.
During the launch, the governor announced the rehabilitation and paving of three specific streets, along with associated lighting and drainage works. He emphasized that the city will undergo comprehensive paving and rehabilitation in subsequent phases of the project.
According to Aref Al-Yousufi, the director of the Salh district, the initial project focuses on maintaining and rehabilitating asphalt roads with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The project includes the following key components:
