On Monday, Defense Minister Major General Mohsen Mohammed Al-Dhari met with Indian Ambassador to Yemen Suhail Khan and Military Attaché Sarabjeet Singh. The discussion focused on several topics of mutual interest, particularly in enhancing military cooperation between Yemen and India.
During the meeting, the officials explored ways to strengthen collaboration in military training and rehabilitation. They emphasized the importance of academic and technical training, as well as medical support, including prosthetic manufacturing. Additionally, they addressed the exchange of visiting medical delegations to further develop these areas.
Minister Al-Dhari commended the Indian embassy for its efforts in facilitating travel for wounded individuals and patients seeking necessary medical care. He highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Yemen and India, which span various sectors.
The meeting also included the presence of Major General Ahmed Mohsen Al-Yafei, Head of Intelligence and Reconnaissance, and Colonel Yahya Al-Wa’il, Yemen’s military attaché in Riyadh.
This dialogue underscores the commitment of both nations to foster a collaborative environment, particularly in military training and healthcare, reinforcing their longstanding friendship.
