Today Shabwa Governor Awdh Ibn Al-Wazir officially opened the Fourth Ramadan Exhibition. This event, organized by the Economic Foundation branch in the province, collaborates with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Chamber of Commerce. Approximately 25 commercial companies participated in this significant exhibition.
Abd Rabbo Hashla, the Secretary-General of the Local Council in Shabwa, commended the exhibition’s organization. He highlighted the effective distribution of commercial companies and the accessibility of essential and consumer goods. Hashla emphasized the exhibition’s role in revitalizing shopping, trade, and the local economy during the holy month of Ramadan.
Hashla announced that the local authority would support the distribution of 18,000 essential goods. This initiative aims to enable citizens to purchase these items at significantly subsidized prices. He also warned against potential price manipulation, urging vigilance among consumers.
Mehdi Bashahib, the Director of the Chamber of Commerce, explained the efforts made to gather a substantial number of local and national companies for the exhibition. His remarks underscored the importance of collaboration in promoting local businesses and enhancing community engagement.
This exhibition not only showcases essential goods but also strengthens the local economy, fostering a spirit of community during Ramadan.
