Muscat, Oman – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mustafa Naaman, held a significant meeting with the Secretary-General of the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA), Sangav Ranjan. This encounter took place on the sidelines of the eighth Indian Ocean Conference in the Omani capital, Muscat.
During the meeting, Naaman and Ranjan discussed strategies for enhancing regional cooperation to address the pressing challenges facing the security and welfare of the Indian Ocean region. Additionally, the two leaders agreed to implement diplomatic training programs tailored to the needs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
