In a significant meeting today, Dr. Shaya’ Al-Zandani, Yemen’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, engaged with Iman Al-Abdulrazzaq, the Deputy Director-General for Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development. The discussion focused on securing funding for various developmental projects in Yemen.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Zandani expressed Yemen’s gratitude for Kuwait’s unwavering support in the nation’s development efforts. He highlighted the importance of the grants and assistance provided by the Kuwait Fund, which have played a crucial role in financing numerous projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure and delivering essential services in recent years.
In response, Al-Abdulrazzaq reaffirmed the Kuwait Fund’s commitment to continue its support for Yemen. She emphasized the Fund’s readiness to finance projects across various sectors, ensuring that the benefits reach the Yemeni people.
The meeting also included several officials from the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development. Notable attendees were Dr. Ali Mansour Bin Safa, Yemen’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Ambassador Adel Al-Sheikh, Deputy Head of the Foreign Minister’s Office, and Advisor Salem Ba’afi, the Foreign Minister’s personal secretary.
This collaboration between Yemen and Kuwait underscores the ongoing efforts to foster development and improve living conditions in Yemen, reflecting a strong partnership aimed at achieving sustainable growth.
