On Saturday, the capital of Qatar, Doha, hosted the opening of the Doha Forum 2025, marking its 23rd edition. The forum operates under the theme: “Establishing Justice: From Promises to Tangible Reality.”
The opening ceremony welcomed numerous heads of state and government, alongside leaders from regional and international organizations. A select group of political leaders, decision-makers, and thinkers from around the globe participated. Notably, the Republic of Yemen sent an official delegation led by Dr. Abdullah Alimi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council.
During the inauguration, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, presented the Doha Forum Award to Alex Thier and Saad Mohseni. This recognition honored their contributions to supporting education for children in Palestine and Afghanistan, in partnership with the Education Above All Foundation.
The Doha Forum stands out as a premier global platform for discussing political, economic, and humanitarian issues. In its current edition, the forum continues to attract extensive international participation, enriching dialogue and shaping shared visions to tackle global challenges.
