Dr. Mohammed Mansour, the Director General of Friendship Educational Hospital in Aden, met today with Mohammed Othman, the Country Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in the Middle East. During the meeting, Dr. Mansour provided an update on the construction of the Emergency Maternal and Neonatal Center, which is currently in its first phase. This project receives funding from UNOPS through the German Development Bank. Dr. Mansour emphasized the importance of completing this center according to established technical standards. In a related discussion, Mohammed Othman and his accompanying delegation reviewed the progress of the construction of central vaccine storage facilities at the Primary Healthcare Building in the Mansoura District.
