In February 2026, the Kidney Dialysis Center in Al-Ghaydah, located in Al-Mahrah Governorate, delivered approximately 1,195 free medical services to 118 patients suffering from kidney failure. This initiative received support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and was implemented by the International Association for the Care of War and Disaster Victims (Al-Ameen) as part of the third phase of the project.
A recent report from the center, shared with the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), detailed the range of services provided. The total included 428 dialysis sessions and 170 laboratory and radiological tests to monitor patients’ health conditions. Additionally, the center distributed 778 units of various medications to the patients.
The report emphasized that these services significantly alleviated both the financial and emotional burdens on patients and their families, especially amid the challenging humanitarian conditions in the country. The center confirmed its commitment to continue offering free healthcare services to kidney failure patients in the governorate.
