Local Authorities Support National Football Team Training Camp

Dr. Abdulqawi Al-Makhlafi, the Deputy Governor of Taiz, emphasized the local government’s commitment to supporting the national football team. He pledged to provide all necessary facilities for the successful execution of their training camp, aligning with their sports program.

Warm Welcome for the National Team

During a meeting today, Dr. Al-Makhlafi welcomed the national football team, led by Algerian coach Nour Eddine and assistant coach Qais Saleh. He expressed his delight at their choice of Taiz as the location for their training camp. The Deputy Governor wished the team a pleasant stay and success in their upcoming matches. He also praised the Ministry of Youth and Sports for its efforts in promoting sports in the province, particularly with the return of Al-Saqr Club and the renovation of sports and cultural facilities, which significantly enhance the local sports landscape.

Team’s Gratitude for Local Support

In response, the national team expressed their gratitude to Governor Nabil Shamsan for his attention to hosting the first team. They appreciated the facilities provided, which enabled them to conduct their training camp according to their planned strategies. Fouad Fadel, the Director of the Youth and Sports Office in Taiz, noted that the team receives comprehensive training and support.
