On Sunday, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari assessed the current military situation and troop positioning in the Al-Dhale’e frontlines. This visit forms part of his ongoing tour of military fronts and formations.
Accompanied by Major General Hadi Al-Awlaki, Commander of the Eighth Military Region, and Brigadier General Abdullah Mahdi, Commander of Joint Operations in Al-Dhale’e, the Minister visited several frontline sites, including Mores, Al-Jabirah, and Al-Fakher. He praised the steadfastness and high morale of the brave fighters in these areas.
During the visit, the Minister held a comprehensive meeting with military and security leaders in Al-Dhale’e. He was joined by several high-ranking officials, including Major General Abdulaziz Al-Faqih, Chief of Logistics Support, and Major General Fadl Hassan, Commander of the Fourth Military Region. The Minister conveyed greetings and congratulations from the senior political and military leadership in celebration of Yemen’s Revolution Days in September, October, and November.
The Minister commended the level of readiness and coordination among all units in the Al-Dhale’e front. He emphasized that this collaboration serves as a model for uniting efforts against the common enemy, represented by the Houthi militia.
Lieutenant General Al-Daari expressed pride in the sacrifices made by the people of Al-Dhale’e in their fight against the Houthi militia. He noted that they have consistently stood as a formidable barrier against Iranian influence, achieving significant victories.
The Minister paid tribute to the fallen soldiers of the armed forces, stressing the importance of honoring their sacrifices and caring for their families. He also appreciated the steadfast support from the Arab coalition, led by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, for Yemen and its armed forces.
Major General Al-Awlaki welcomed the Minister and his delegation, highlighting the importance of the visit in boosting the morale of the fighters. He provided a detailed overview of the operations in the Al-Dhale’e front and the deployment of troops.
Brigadier General Abdullah Mahdi expressed his happiness regarding the Minister’s visit, noting that it serves as a significant morale booster for the fighters on the frontlines. He highlighted the readiness and discipline of the military units, emphasizing their harmonious efforts to confront the Houthi militia amid ongoing challenges.
The Minister listened to several military leaders who voiced concerns and needs of the armed forces in Al-Dhale’e. He reassured them that the heroes on the frontlines remain a top priority for the political and military leadership.
