Today, Yemeni Defense Minister Major General Mohsen Al-Dhari participated in the opening of the International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
Accompanying the Minister were Yemen’s Ambassador to the UAE, Fahd Al-Munhali, the Chief of the Logistics Support Authority, Major General Abdulaziz Al-Faqih, and the military attaché at the Yemeni embassy, Major General Ali Al-Naqeeb. Together, they explored the latest defense technologies and innovations showcased at the exhibition.
Minister Al-Dhari commended the meticulous and extensive organization of the event. He emphasized that exhibitions and conferences like IDEX play a crucial role in enhancing defense and security cooperation among friendly nations. Such collaborations contribute significantly to regional security and stability.
The exhibition features over 1,565 exhibitors from 65 countries worldwide, bringing together leaders in the defense industry. This diverse participation highlights the global commitment to advancing defense capabilities and fostering international partnerships.
The event serves as a vital platform for nations to share knowledge and innovations, ultimately strengthening global security efforts.
