Defense Minister Visits Military Region Six in Al-Jawf

Al-Jawf, Yemen – Today, Defense Minister Lieutenant General Taher Al-Aqeeli conducted an inspection of Military Region Six in Al-Jawf Governorate. He held an extensive military meeting with the region’s leadership, which included Major General Haikel Hantaf, the region’s commander.

Honoring a Fallen Leader

At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Al-Aqeeli invited attendees to recite Fatiha in memory of the late Major General Amin Al-Waeli, the former commander of Military Region Six. He praised Al-Waeli’s contributions and dedication to building the region, emphasizing that every achievement reflects his hard work and commitment to national duty.

Preparing for New Challenges

The minister expressed his admiration for the military readiness and preparations observed among the personnel of Military Region Six. He addressed the leadership, stating, “You stand on the brink of a new victory. A significant national mission awaits you: the liberation of the capital, Sana’a. You will have the honor of advancing alongside your brothers from various regions and military fronts.”

Acknowledging Sacrifices

Lieutenant General Al-Aqeeli highlighted the struggles of the soldiers and officers within Military Region Six, which includes fighters from various provinces. He commended the heroic contributions of the people from Aden and Abyan, who have made significant sacrifices in the quest to restore the state.

A Unified Battle for Freedom

The minister affirmed that the current battle represents the struggle of all free Yemenis, not just a specific group or region. He noted that citizens across different areas aspire to restore the state and participate in achieving victory.

Commitment to Military Development

Minister Al-Aqeeli praised the level of discipline and readiness he observed. He assured that the ministry’s leadership is actively addressing various challenges and meeting needs. The ministry will spare no effort in providing the necessary resources to enhance military operations and combat capabilities.

A Warm Reception

In response, Major General Hantaf welcomed the Defense Minister’s visit, stating it reflects the military leadership’s commitment to supporting the field and directly assessing its needs.

Achievements and Future Goals

The region’s commander reviewed the key achievements accomplished in recent months. He reaffirmed that the personnel of Military Region Six are committed to fulfilling their assigned tasks and will work diligently to restore the state.
