Minister of Defense Launches Electronic Military Card in Aden

In a significant development for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari inaugurated the electronic military card today in Aden, the temporary capital. This initiative, launched by the Human Resources Authority, aims to streamline data for military officers across various departments within the Ministry of Defense, the Fourth Military Region, and independent units.

Celebrating Revolutionary Anniversaries

During the launch event, Minister Al-Daari congratulated attendees on the anniversaries of the Yemeni revolutions in September and October. He praised the dedicated efforts of the Human Resources Authority and the Officers Affairs Department in preparing this national project. The initiative seeks to verify and unify military data based on sound principles, aligning with the government’s reform program to enhance the management of state personnel.

Commitment to Modernization and Discipline

Lieutenant General Al-Daari emphasized that the issuance of the electronic card reflects the Ministry’s commitment to building a modern military institution grounded in discipline. He noted the importance of accurate data verification to strengthen the administrative and financial aspects of the military.

Enhancing Military Data Management

Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Marzouqi, head of the Human Resources Authority, highlighted the significance of the electronic military card in managing military data. He stated that this initiative addresses any discrepancies or issues, thereby enhancing discipline within the armed forces.

Project Implementation and Features

Brigadier General Ali Al-Houri, Director of the Officers Affairs Department, detailed the efforts made by his team to prepare and implement this national project. He outlined the characteristics and advantages of the electronic card, as well as the procedures involved in its issuance, all in accordance with the directives from the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff.

This launch marks a crucial step towards modernizing the Yemeni military and ensuring effective data management within its ranks.
