On Sunday, Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Supreme Security Committee, Major General Mohsen Al-Daari, convened a meeting of the Security Committee in Shabwa Governorate. The meeting took place in the presence of Governor Awad bin Al-Wazir, who also chairs the local security committee. Participants reviewed the current security situation and highlighted the successes achieved in enhancing stability in the region.
Minister Al-Daari praised the high level of coordination and integration among security and military agencies. He acknowledged the local authority’s efforts in supporting the security framework. Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of maintaining vigilance to counter any potential threats. This includes addressing attempts by the Houthi militia to destabilize the area by collaborating with other terrorist organizations.
In response, Governor bin Al-Wazir expressed gratitude to Minister Al-Daari for his visit and direct assessment of the province’s conditions. He assured that both security and military forces are working in complete harmony to protect stability and support development initiatives.
The meeting underscored the commitment of both the defense ministry and local authorities to ensure security in Shabwa. Their collaborative efforts aim to foster a safe environment conducive to development and progress in the region.
