Taiz, Yemen – Today, Major General Khaled Fadhel, the Commander of the Taiz Axis, visited wounded soldiers receiving treatment at Al-Thawra General Hospital. The visit aimed to check on their health and well-being.
During the visit, Major General Fadhel, accompanied by Dr. Abdul Qawi Al-Makhlafi, the First Deputy Governor, and Major General Abdul Karim Al-Sabri, the Deputy Governor for Defense and Security Affairs, praised the bravery of the injured soldiers. He emphasized their heroic actions in defending Taiz, stating that their injuries symbolize pride and honor.
Fadhel reaffirmed the political and military leadership’s commitment to addressing the needs of the wounded. He highlighted the importance of providing necessary care and commended the soldiers for their valor in repelling attacks from Houthi militia forces against the National Army.
The Deputy Governors explained that this visit reflects the leadership’s dedication to the armed forces and acknowledges the sacrifices made by the wounded. These soldiers sustained injuries while defending against militia assaults on the old airport front, inflicting significant losses on enemy personnel and equipment.
The injured soldiers expressed their gratitude for the visit from the military leadership and local authorities. They noted that such gestures boost their morale and enhance their fighting spirit.
