The commander of the Second Military Region inspects the Shibam and Second Coastal Defense Brigades, praising their readiness.

Today, Major General Taleb Barjash, the commander of the Second Military Region, conducted an inspection of the Shibam Brigade and the Second Coastal Defense Brigade. This visit included a thorough review of the brigades’ command structures, camps, and military positions located in the districts of Dawhan and Al-Dhali’a.

Assessment of Military Readiness

During the inspection, General Barjash evaluated the military performance and combat readiness of both brigades. He focused on identifying their operational and logistical needs, emphasizing their critical role due to their strategic locations. The assessment aimed to ensure that these units remain prepared to respond effectively to any emerging challenges.

Celebrating National Independence Day

General Barjash took the opportunity to extend his congratulations to all personnel within the brigades in honor of National Independence Day, celebrated on November 30th. He stressed the importance of military discipline and organization as fundamental pillars for enhancing the efficiency of the armed forces. According to him, maintaining strict discipline reflects the readiness of troops to face various challenges.
