Marib, Yemen – Today, Major General Saqr bin Aziz, the Chief of General Staff and Commander of Joint Operations, visited wounded members of the armed forces, security personnel, and resistance fighters receiving treatment at Marib General Hospital and the military hospital in the city.
During his visit, Major General bin Aziz reviewed the medical services and care provided to the brave injured soldiers. He praised the efforts of hospital management and medical staff, urging them to intensify their commitment to serving these heroes who have sacrificed so much for their country. Their acts of valor and dedication to duty have created remarkable stories of sacrifice and heroism.
Accompanied by Major General Abdulaziz Al-Faqih, Chief of Logistics Support, and Major General Mansour Thawab, Commander of the Third Military Region, Major General bin Aziz conveyed the congratulations of the political leadership and the Ministry of Defense to the wounded soldiers, medical staff, and administrative personnel on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha. He expressed his hopes that this festive season would bring victory, security, and stability to the nation.
During the visit, Major General bin Aziz listened attentively to the wounded soldiers, who shared their conditions and needs. He reaffirmed the military leadership’s commitment to their well-being, recognizing their invaluable sacrifices. Their bravery in defending the principles and achievements of the republic against Houthi militia aggression remains a source of pride. He also paid tribute to the fallen heroes and wished for a swift recovery for the injured.
As part of the visit, emergency cash assistance was distributed to the wounded, injured, and sick, following directives from the President of the Presidential Leadership Council. This support aims to alleviate their hardships and demonstrate the leadership’s commitment to their welfare.
