Military Leadership Meeting in Aden Focuses on Combat Readiness

A Comprehensive Gathering of Military Officials

Today, in the temporary capital of Aden, Major General Saqr Hamoud bin Aziz, the Chief of General Staff and Commander of Joint Operations, convened a significant meeting. This assembly included heads of departments, directors of various military branches, and several leaders from military units and brigades.

Updates on Operational Conditions

During the meeting, Major General bin Aziz received brief reports on the current battlefield conditions and operational activities across various fronts in the provinces of Abyan, Lahij, Al-Dhale, and Taiz. He praised the valor displayed by the armed forces in their ongoing fight against the Houthi terrorist militias.

Unity Against Houthi Forces

The Chief of General Staff emphasized the unity of the fronts across the country in the struggle against the Iranian-backed Houthi militia. He noted that the steadfastness and belief of the fighters in their cause serve as the foundation for victory in the fields of honor and bravery.

Enhancing Military Capabilities

Major General bin Aziz urged for increased efforts to elevate performance levels and enhance the skills and expertise of military personnel across various units. He stressed the importance of maintaining combat readiness to achieve the desired objectives.

Acknowledgment of Support from Saudi Arabia

The Major General also commended the substantial efforts and brotherly support provided by the leadership of Saudi Arabia and the Joint Forces. This assistance plays a crucial role in supporting Yemen and its armed forces in their quest to restore state institutions and achieve security and stability in Yemen and the region.

The meeting saw the participation of several high-ranking officials, including Lieutenant General Ahmed Al-Basri, Deputy Chief of General Staff; Major General Saleh Mohammed Hassan, Assistant Minister of Defense for Logistics; Major General Saleh Ali Hassan, Chief of Joint Operations; Major General Fadl Hassan, Commander of the Fourth Military Region; and Brigadier General Yahya Al-Aizari, Director of War Operations.

This gathering underscores the commitment of Yemen’s military leadership to enhance operational effectiveness and ensure the safety and security of the nation.
