Military Conference Concludes with Focus on Operational Readiness

On Thursday, the Chief of General Staff and Joint Operations Commander, Lieutenant General Sager bin Aziz, attended the conclusion of the Third Military Region’s annual analytical conference. This event focused on operational, combat, and morale training for the year 2024.

Leadership Congratulates Military Personnel

During the conference, Lieutenant General Aziz conveyed greetings and congratulations from political and military leadership to the personnel of the Third Military Region. He acknowledged the upcoming month of Ramadan and praised the achievements showcased during the year 2024.

Emphasizing Combat Readiness

Lieutenant General Aziz stated, “The advanced level of administrative, operational, training, and morale performance we witnessed is a source of pride for the region’s leadership and all its members.” He underscored the importance of combat readiness and the continuous preparation required to fulfill national duties.

He further emphasized, “We are in a battle that demands the highest levels of readiness and vigilance.” He declared that the upcoming battle represents a fight for victory and liberation, a goal eagerly anticipated by all Yemeni citizens.

Insights from the Military Region Commander

In his remarks, Major General Mansour Thawab, Commander of the Third Military Region, highlighted the conference as a crucial opportunity to review military performance. He noted the assessment of combat readiness and the successes and challenges faced by the region over the past year.

Major General Thawab assured that the recommendations derived from the conference would be implemented to enhance military performance in the upcoming phase. He expressed his hopes for success and guidance for all armed forces personnel in their national missions.

The annual conference not only served as a platform for reflection but also set the stage for future improvements in military operations. As the Third Military Region prepares for the challenges ahead, the commitment to readiness and excellence remains a top priority.
