Today, Major General Saghir bin Aziz, the Chief of General Staff and Commander of Joint Operations, attended a military graduation ceremony marking the completion of the 12th Officer Qualification Course, named in honor of the late Brigadier General Naji Aydh, at the Seventh Military Region.
During his speech at the event, General bin Aziz conveyed greetings from the political and military leadership to the graduates and attendees. He praised the efforts of the Seventh Military Region in training and qualifying its personnel across various military disciplines. He emphasized the significance of these initiatives in enhancing the capabilities and efficiency of the armed forces in scientific, practical, and administrative aspects.
General bin Aziz stressed the necessity of improving combat capabilities for all armed forces members. He highlighted the importance of maintaining high levels of combat readiness and vigilance at all times. Furthermore, he stated that training and qualification serve as the foundation for the armed forces’ success in their fight against the Iran-backed Houthi militia. He reiterated the critical role of training in building a strong military capable of performing its duties effectively.
In his remarks, Brigadier General Mardhi Darma, Chief of Staff of the Seventh Military Region, congratulated the graduates on completing their officer qualification course. He commended their performance and the valuable skills and experiences they gained during their training. He also expressed gratitude to the General Staff and representatives from the Training and Qualification Department of the Ministry of Defense for their support of various training programs in the region.
The graduates reaffirmed their commitment to the political and military leadership, vowing to continue the path of the martyrs until they fully liberate and cleanse every inch of the homeland from the Iran-backed Houthi militia.
At the conclusion of the event, outstanding officers received recognition for their discipline and excellence throughout the training period. This acknowledgment highlights the dedication and hard work of the new officers as they prepare to serve their country.
This graduation ceremony not only marks a significant milestone for the new officers but also reinforces the ongoing efforts of the Yemeni armed forces in their fight for national sovereignty and security.
