President Alimi Meets with Judicial Leaders to Discuss New Judicial Year

On Tuesday, President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, head of the Presidential Leadership Council, convened at the Maashiq Palace with Chief Justice Mohsen Yahya Talib and several members of the Supreme Judicial Council. The meeting also included Justice Minister Badr Al-Aradah and Attorney General Qaher Mustafa.

Celebrating the New Judicial Year

During the meeting, President Alimi extended his congratulations to the judicial leadership and all members of the judiciary on the commencement of the new judicial year. He expressed the Council’s appreciation for the significant achievements of this vital national institution and highlighted the esteemed role of justice officials in upholding the constitution and the law.

President Alimi reaffirmed the importance of the judiciary as a key pillar of state authority deserving of care and attention. They discussed the judiciary’s role in reinforcing state presence and enforcing the rule of law, including the presidential endorsement of over 150 final rulings in serious criminal cases after nearly a decade of inactivity in imposing such punitive measures.
