Today, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center announced the extension of the “Masam” project contract, which aims to clear Yemeni lands of landmines for another year. The project will receive funding of approximately $52,531,168.65.

Since its launch in mid-2018, the “Masam” project has successfully removed 567,182 landmines, including anti-personnel and anti-tank mines, unexploded ordnance, and various munitions.
