Deputy Foreign Minister Discusses UNHCR Operations in Yemen

In a significant meeting held today in the temporary capital of Aden, Deputy Foreign Minister Mustafa Noman engaged with Mohammed Rafiq, the head of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) office. The discussion focused on enhancing the UNHCR’s operations in Yemen and establishing effective coordination mechanisms with the Yemeni government to protect refugees and support host communities.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister Noman highlighted the crucial humanitarian role that the UNHCR plays in Yemen.
