On Wednesday, President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, head of the Presidential Leadership Council, held a significant international meeting. This gathering included Council members Aidarus Al-Zubaidi and Sheikh Othman Majali, alongside U.S. Special Envoy for Yemen Tim Lenderking. High-ranking officials from the United Kingdom, France, Australia, the European Union, Germany, the Netherlands, and Japan also participated. The meeting took place during the United Nations General Assembly, which commenced on Tuesday.

Addressing Yemen’s Current Situation

During the meeting, participants reviewed recent developments in Yemen. The goal is to reduce tensions and launch a comprehensive political process under United Nations auspices.
