The Armed Forces announced today the execution of 1,164 precise and direct targeting operations within the last 24 hours as part of “Fajr Yemen.” These operations resulted in the neutralization of 558 members of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, including field leaders, and the destruction or damage of 135 military vehicles and equipment.
Colonel Majid Al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for the Armed Forces, stated in a press release that the military has seized the initiative and expanded its offensive operations. The forces utilized warplanes, drones, field artillery, rocket launchers, and snipers to strike Houthi militia gatherings, reinforcements, and vehicles. They also dismantled the militia’s fortifications and disrupted their fire sources and supply routes.
Al-Nazili explained that the Armed Forces continue to enhance their offensive and expand their territorial gains according to the operational plan. He noted that the Taiz front has seen assault units intensifying their attacks, capturing new positions, and forcing militia elements to retreat under heavy air and artillery support. Meanwhile, the southern fronts and Shabwa front maintained pressure on enemy positions, restricting their movements and preventing them from reorganizing or deploying reserves.
The spokesperson highlighted that the Armed Forces have thwarted enemy formations along the western front in the coastal region and Bab al-Mandab. They established fire control over movement axes and targeted areas of enemy concentration and fire sources.
The official spokesperson confirmed that the targeting operations were conducted against legitimate military objectives, following verification and taking necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian properties.
