Armed Forces Announce Start of Liberation Battle

The Armed Forces announced today, Sunday, the commencement of the liberation battle aimed at restoring state institutions, ending the Houthi coup, alleviating the suffering of the people, and enabling Yemenis to reclaim their right to a nation where the only authority is the people, and the only power is the constitution and the rule of law.

Objectives of the National Battle

Colonel Majid Al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for the Armed Forces, stated in a press release that this decisive battle seeks to reclaim all state territories and establish complete national sovereignty. The goal is to eliminate all manifestations of the brutal coup in areas of the country currently under the forceful control of the Houthi militia. He emphasized that the militia’s actions have harmed the social fabric and violated established tribal norms, with repercussions extending beyond Yemen to the regional and international spheres.

Commitment to Civilian Protection

Colonel Al-Nazili clarified that this national battle represents a true bridge to restore our beloved country to its Arab embrace and its original strategic depth among its brothers. The Armed Forces reaffirm their commitment to the state’s inherent right and its citizens to regain their full rights and live in dignity, while fully ensuring the protection of civilian lives and avoiding any harm in all regions and governorates.

Call to Houthi Fighters

The Armed Forces renewed their sincere call to all those misled and fighters within the ranks of the Houthi terrorist militia to lay down their arms immediately and return safely to their homes. This plea aims to preserve their lives and steer them away from a losing conflict that serves only destructive agendas. They affirmed that the homeland welcomes all its returning sons to the path of righteousness, appreciating the steadfast supportive positions of the brothers in the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, which serve the interests of our country and people.

Message to the Yemeni People

The official spokesperson for the Armed Forces addressed the Yemeni people, stating, “O proud Yemeni people, your heroes in the Armed Forces, along with all those fighting for the homeland, advance with steadfastness, determination, and unwavering combat will towards the strongholds of the rebellious Houthi terrorism. Their eyes are set on clear victory. Stand by your Armed Forces and be their support and assistance in these historic moments that mark a turning point in Yemen’s history. Glory and eternal remembrance to the noble martyrs.” He wished for the swift recovery of the wounded heroes, freedom for the captives and detainees, and victory and pride for Yemen and its great people.
