The Armed Forces announced today, Sunday, the commencement of the liberation battle aimed at restoring state institutions, ending the Houthi coup, alleviating the suffering of the people, and enabling Yemenis to reclaim their right to a nation where the only authority belongs to the people, and where the constitution and the rule of law prevail.
Objectives of the National Battle
Colonel Majid Al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for the Armed Forces, stated in a press release that this decisive battle seeks to reclaim all state territories and establish complete national sovereignty. It also aims to eliminate all manifestations of the brutal coup in areas of the country currently under the forceful control of the Houthi militia. The militia’s actions have harmed the social fabric of the nation and violated established tribal norms, with repercussions extending beyond Yemen to the regional and international arenas.
Commitment to Civilian Protection
