The Armed Forces announced today, Sunday, the commencement of the liberation battle aimed at restoring state institutions, ending the Houthi coup, alleviating the suffering of the people, and enabling Yemenis to reclaim their right to a homeland where the only authority is the people, and the only sovereignty is the constitution and the rule of law.
Objectives of the National Battle
Colonel Majid Al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for the Armed Forces, stated in a press release that this decisive battle aims to reclaim all state territories and establish complete national sovereignty. It seeks to eliminate all manifestations of the brutal coup in areas of the country currently under the forceful control of the Houthi militia, which has harmed the social fabric and violated established tribal norms. The repercussions of this situation have extended beyond Yemen to its regional and international surroundings.
