The Al-Dhale’e Police Department has reported an impressive crime resolution rate of 98.07% for the first half of 2026. This statistic comes from a total of 1,192 criminal cases recorded during this period. Authorities apprehended 1,593 suspects and managed 1,391 cases and incidents. These efforts align with the directives of Police Chief Brigadier General Aidros Abdulrahim Al-Thawair, who emphasized enhancing security readiness and institutional performance to tackle various challenges.
A recent statistical report from the Al-Dhale’e Police Department detailed the distribution of cases. The report indicated 1,192 criminal offenses, 150 traffic incidents, and 49 non-criminal incidents. Notably, the police achieved a 100% success rate in handling both traffic and non-criminal cases.
The police referred 273 cases to the public prosecutor’s office and 160 cases to other authorities. Additionally, they resolved 707 cases through reconciliation or withdrawal, in accordance with legal procedures. Among their significant achievements, law enforcement addressed 21 homicide cases, 23 attempted murder cases, and solved 9 previously unknown crimes. They also detained 18 individuals wanted by the law.
In the field, the Al-Dhale’e Police executed 6,417 security missions, which included 3,256 security patrols and 138 security campaigns. The Civil Status and Civil Registry Department issued 25,985 official documents during the same timeframe.
Brigadier General Al-Thawair attributed these results to the ongoing development of security performance, enhanced discipline, and the activation of criminal investigation roles. He reaffirmed the commitment to operational readiness and the improvement of security work systems, alongside fostering community partnerships in the second half of the year.
In a related development, Brigadier General Al-Thawair chaired an extensive security meeting with leaders from various departments and police units. This meeting aimed to implement directives from political leadership and the Minister of Interior, focusing on enhancing security readiness and institutional efficiency.
The Police Chief stressed the importance of preparedness across all security units. He urged officers to execute their duties responsibly and with discipline, promoting teamwork and coordination among units. He also highlighted the need for swift responses to emerging situations while adhering to laws and regulations governing police work, thereby reinforcing the rule of law and ensuring positive interactions with citizens.
Brigadier General Al-Thawair praised the dedication of officers and personnel across various security locations. He acknowledged their sacrifices in maintaining security and stability, encouraging them to continue their work with a strong sense of national responsibility.
