Yemen Launches Program to Train External Reviewers for Higher Education

The Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance Council in Yemen has officially launched a program aimed at training external reviewers to evaluate higher education programs and institutions across the country. This initiative began today and will run for one week.

Dr. Susan Bakheera, the Chair of the Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance Council, emphasized the program’s significance during her virtual address. Dr. Mohiuddin Al-Qabati, President of Al-Jund University, welcomed the participants and expressed pride in hosting this significant academic event. The first day of the program featured specialized scientific sessions. Over 50 academics, including professors and experts from various Yemeni universities and the Accreditation Council, participated in these discussions.
