Handover Process Initiated by Defense Ministry Committee in Taiz Axis

Defense Ministry Committee Takes Action

The Defense Ministry’s committee, designated to manage the handover process within the Fourth Military Region, has officially begun its field operations today in the Taiz Axis. Under the leadership of Major General Masfer Al-Harithi, the Deputy Inspector General of the Armed Forces, the committee’s primary objective is to facilitate the transfer of authority for the new regional commands and military units.

Welcoming Reception and Initial Engagements

Upon their arrival, the committee was greeted warmly by Major General Khalid Fadhel, the Taiz Axis Commander, alongside Brigadier General Abdulaziz Al-Majidi, the Chief of Staff, and Brigadier General Muhammad Al-Najjar, the Operations Chief. This cordial reception established a positive atmosphere for the committee’s mission.

The committee promptly engaged in its responsibilities by convening a meeting with the leadership of the axis and department heads. The discussions focused on the tasks ahead, elucidating the roles of each department head, while also outlining the timeline and operational mechanisms necessary for the execution of the committee’s duties.

Messages of Commitment and Collaboration

During the meeting, Major General Masfer Al-Harithi extended greetings and congratulations from the political and military leadership in anticipation of the upcoming Eid al-Adha. He commended the resilience of the Taiz Axis and the valor of its personnel in their ongoing conflict against Houthi militias. Al-Harithi underscored the significance of precision in executing the committee’s tasks and emphasized adherence to established protocols throughout the handover process.

Brigadier General Mahdar Al-Saadi, Chief of Staff for the Fourth Military Region, expressed appreciation for the welcoming atmosphere provided by the Taiz leadership. He elaborated on the committee’s objectives and the responsibilities that have been assigned to them.

In a show of commitment, Major General Khalid Fadhel, the Taiz Axis Commander, welcomed the committee members and shared an overview of the axis’s responsibilities, unit deployments, and accomplishments during the initial phase of the training year. He assured the committee of the axis’s full cooperation and dedication to facilitating their tasks within the command and its subordinate units.

This collaborative effort represents a pivotal advancement in reinforcing military operations in the region, ensuring a seamless transition of leadership, and enhancing the overall effectiveness of the armed forces in their ongoing mission.
