Gold prices rose slightly at the start of Asian market trading on Wednesday, as investors awaited the results of the U.S. midterm elections and important labor market data for indications regarding future monetary policy directions.
The decline in oil prices has helped ease inflation-related concerns, which has influenced trading activity in precious metal markets.
In spot trading, gold increased by 0.2 percent, reaching 3,934.75 dollars per ounce. Meanwhile, U.S. gold futures for December delivery rose by 0.1 percent, recording 3,943.20 dollars per ounce.
Investors are closely monitoring U.S. economic developments and upcoming labor market data, as these factors significantly impact gold prices and global financial markets.
