Egyptian star Mohamed Salah continued to impress in the Turkish league while playing for Trabzonspor. He scored his third goal of the season, but his team suffered a shocking 2-1 defeat against Amidsport on Monday evening.
Salah opened the scoring in the 11th minute, just days after netting a brace against Istanbul Basaksehir. His strong start with his new team follows his transfer from Liverpool during the summer transfer window.
Despite leading until stoppage time in the first half, Trabzonspor allowed Amidsport to equalize through Yira Collins Sur in the fifth minute of added time. In a dramatic turn of events, Gift Orban snatched the winning goal in the 90th minute, denying Trabzonspor crucial points.
Salah joined Trabzonspor this summer after concluding his time with Liverpool. He quickly made his mark, showcasing his talent and skill. However, the team continues to struggle with inconsistent results, despite the standout performances from their new star.
