New Presidential Decree Establishes Al-Dhale Hospital Authority

Today, the Presidential Decree No. (51) for the year 2026 was issued, officially establishing the Al-Dhale Hospital Authority in Al-Dhale Governorate.

Structure of the Decree

The decree comprises 26 articles divided into five chapters. The first two chapters outline the authority’s name, definitions, establishment, objectives, and responsibilities. Chapters three and four focus on the management of the authority, its resources, and financial system. Finally, the fifth chapter includes concluding provisions.

Implementation and Oversight

The last article of the decree states that it will take effect from the date of its issuance and publication in the official gazette. Under this decree, the authority will possess legal personality, enjoying financial and administrative independence while remaining under the guidance and supervision of the Minister of Public Health and Population.

Objectives of the Al-Dhale Hospital Authority

The primary goal of the authority is to support the Ministry of Health in delivering medical and health services to citizens. It aims to manage and operate the hospital effectively, enhancing and developing its services to meet community needs. Additionally, the authority will contribute to achieving comprehensive development in line with the state’s public health policy.
